A few more snapshots from my amazing adventure with Leave of Trees & Siren Communications in Cabo San Lucas...The landscape was breathtaking because at one moment it would ocean for as long as your eye could see in a thousand different shades of blue and the next, stark desert with cacti and endless sand - So cool!

It was such a treat to explore a new part of the world and in such fantastic company (I have been so inspired by Roohi, Founder of Leaves Of Trees...not only did she start this brand, she is also a working medical doctor and a certified pastry chef! She is also just an amazingly kind & wonderful person, if you are in Toronto make sure to visit her shop. You can also read more about her in her FLARE interview here

I escaped to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico last week with Leaves of Trees, an amazing skin care line that has so many wonderful, natural products (the Argan Oil & the Moroccan Mint Lip Balm & The Culinary Argan Oil are my favourites...delicious in a morning shake!) and it was such an unforgettable experience.

I wanted to share a few snaps of my time there...We stayed at the most breathtaking hotel (thanks to Siren Communications!) called Exclusive Resorts (our villa had a private pool, hot tub & outdoor shower...absolute heaven!) and the view of the Sea of Cortez from the infinity pool in the shared area was so dreamy.

We did so many fun things...we headed out on a boat to go snorkelling and see the amazing arch of Cabo San Lucas (Love our group shot, with Candice, Roohi,  Nancy, Denise, Natalie & Janine) we ate at the coolest restaurant called El Toro Guero (which had the most beautiful entrance way, perfect for a few snaps!) and visited and had dinner at one of the most amazing places I have ever been, Flora Farms. There is a restaurant on the farm and they serve only what they make - The menu had an appetizer that included only fresh vegetables that were picked that day, and there was a fresh market in the restaurant where you could purchase fruit & vegetables to take home as well. We arrived and wandered the gardens (and shopped at the James Perse store they have on site!) before settling in for our dinner - And oh my goodness...it was so yummy! The pizza was divine and the desserts were all worth leaving some room for.

Mexico is definitely one of my favourite places to travel, and I was so excited to have a chance to explore Cabo having never been there before. This adventure was one of the best ones I've had, and I have many more photos to share - Stay Tuned!

fashion stash.

I love sharing my daily inspirations & outfits on Instagram, and of course I also tune in regularily to check up on some of my favourite accounts ~ So often, though, I find that brands aren't listed and I can't shop the looks that I love.

I started playing around with Fashion Stash because you can actually shop the look from your phone...it takes you through and lists all of the pieces of the outfit and has links of where you can find them online...amazing right?! I am obsessed, it is so exciting to be able to find that piece you are crushing on before it sells out. You can find the app on iTunes...Happy Shopping!

One of my favourite movies of all time is Dazed and Confused (the fashion is reason enough to watch it!) So when I discovered this new denim style at F21 I was instantly drawn to them. I have been adding bits of the 70s trend into my daily style, but this look is full on, which I think is so much fun. The crop top & neck scarf brought it all together, with little gold accents, I was definitely channeling Jodi from Dazed.

I am really into the high waisted wide leg denim right now, but F21 has so many new styles in, you can check them all out here.

I am such a summer girl...beach days, sunshine - It is so wonderful! But there is something so special about when the seasons change - Especially when September rolls around - In the fashion world, that is the New Year!

Fall is full of energy - Everything feels new and fresh and reinvented, and with new silhouettes and colour palette inspiration on the runways, it is my favourite time to update my fragrance, too. During the summer I am drawn to natural scents...think coconut & vanilla...easy & beachy. In the fall, though, I love to go for a more romantic feeling, and Gucci Bamboo hits that note perfectly, with floral notes of Casablanca, Lily,  Blossom & Ylang Ylang, it is so pretty without being too overpowering. I love that it still has a top note of Tahitian Vanilla -makes for a seamless fragrance transition from summer to fall for me.  What is your fall fragrance routine?

You can find Gucci Bamboo at Hudson's Bay & TheBay.com
