TRESemmé x AFLA Waterfall Braid Tutorial

I love wearing my hair in soft beachy waves, but it is definitely fun to add a braid in for interest, especially if you are going to an event or attending any of the fun music festivals this summer! I am going to show you how to get this pretty waterfall braid using the TRESemmé Perfectly un(Done) Waves Creation Sea Foam & TRESemmé Perfectly (un)Done Ultra Brushable Hairspray

First, create soft undone waves using the XO Styling Iron or hot tool of your choice. To use the XO Styling Iron, place the iron at a 45 degree angle, close the plates, spin it once towards you and gently glide it down to the bottom of your hair and release. For more instructions you can see my video tutorial here

Next, work a small amount of TRESemmé Perfectly (un)Done  Waves Creation Sea Foam throughout your hair to prep for a natural textural feel, focusing on the hair below your cheek bone and down.

To protect your look from frizz, especially when you start braiding to create a flexible yet long lasting hold, spray your soft waves with the TRESemmé Perfectly (un)Done Ultra Brushable Hairspray.

Now it is time to start your waterfall braid. Separate a small section of hair from your part making sure that it will lay flat when you pull it behind your head, then separate the piece into three parts and begin your braid, pulling it towards the back of your head.

As you continue braiding moving towards the opposite side of your head, incorporate pieces from the further part of your head into the exciting pieces of the braid.

After you have braided across the back of your head, you can start braiding down to finish the braid, and tie it with a clear elastic.

Finish the look with a quick spray of the TRESemmé Perfectly (un)Done Ultra Brushable Hairspray and you are done!
