I am so excited to share my Whistler Getaway with you!

I was invited to visit Whistler by Tourism Whistler who were so welcoming, and planned an amazing itinerary for our 2 day stay. We first set off from Vancouver with Harbour Air Seaplanes (be sure to visit their site on Wednesday's when they offer discounted travel rates!) and wow, what an stunning way to travel...there were spectacular views during the flight~looking back onto Vancouver, passing through the snow-capped mountains, and then seeing an aerial view of Whistler as we came in for landing on Green Lake- definitely a trip to remember!

Once we arrived in Whistler we made our way to the beautiful Fairmont Chateau Whistler where we were treated with delicious chocolates & fruit, the perfect snack after a flight!

The rest of the day was packed with lunch on the Fairmont Mallard Lounge Terrace, exploring Lost Lake (we even spotted a black bear yearling!), and dinner at The Bearfoot Bistro, where we visited the Underground Wine Cellar (where I got to sabre a bottle of bubbles!) & The Vodka Ice Room where we were given Canada Goose (super warm, down-filled) jackets to head in and taste 5 different types of ice cold vodka ;)

It was an incredible day full of activity, some serious relaxing & delicious food...more to come from Whistler this week!
